We took a look at Garden City recently and uncovered some of it’s hidden charm. Now let’s take a look at it’s neighbor, Eagle Idaho Most of us know Eagle because it’s grown into such a popular area in the last ten years. But if you’re new to the area or looking for a new home you may not know about all the town has to offer.

Not too long ago Eagle, Idaho was a slow moving, mainly agricultural town. It grew very quickly and now boasts some of the largest and most beautiful subdivisions, best builders, and homes in the area. It has also developed many new commercial projects bordering the Boise River. Eagle is now focusing on building a sense of community amongst all the fairly new residents it has. Eagle now has its own Saturday Market that aims to bring people together. It is smaller and more intimate than the neighboring Boise farmer’s market and focuses more on local artists than it does on local farmers. If you’re interested in local art, it’s a great place to go and see what’s new.

Eagle has quite a different market than we saw in Garden City. For instance, the average home price here is about $311,000.00. This is up 5% since last year and is expected to rise another 2% in 2014. The population is 20,347 and the actual size of Eagle is about 29 square miles.

We have some great listings in Eagle. It’s a beautiful town that offers a lot of amenities to both young families and retired residents. It provides some great shopping and restaurants and also has some of the best schools in the area.  We would be happy to show you around Eagle and take you to some beautiful homes.
