North End Boise: What a rich history we have right here in the North End of Boise! Let’s take a flash back to 1890: the 23rd President of the United States, Benjamin Harrison came to Boise and signed the amendment act making Idaho a State! Most of the North End is in the Local Historic District of Boise or on the National Register of Historic Places. One of the most famous builders Tourtello and Hummel has his name on over 150 of the homes and buildings on the National Register of Historic places including the State Capitol and the Egyptian Theatre!
