Jon Hoeger is a founder of The Broadbent Group. Jon’s passion for real estate and entrepreneurship began while attending college in Utah when he purchased his first investment property in 2004 after becoming a licensed agent in 2003. Jon's interest and focus in real estate has always centered around investment and income property. He personally acquired several additional investment properties throughout 2004 while studying economics at BYU in Provo. He also learned to renovate and flip houses as well as how to conservatively underwrite and acquire residential properties as long-term rentals. Since moving to Boise in 2006 Jon has personally bought and sold over 135 properties in the Boise area and owns residential and commercial income properties in the Treasure Valley.

After being continually approached by friends and colleagues requesting his help with their real estate needs Jon decided to obtain his real estate license in Idaho in January of 2013. Because of Jon’s experience structuring hundreds of real estate transactions, clients have come to value Jon’s ability to thoroughly listen to and understand their situation, and then offer personalized solutions and practical alternatives beyond the scope of most agents.

In addition to his real estate ventures, Jon is a business entrepreneur in online retail and a member of the Boise Angel Alliance, a group of seasoned accredited investors providing consulting and funding for local businesses and start-ups. Jon is a member of both the Treasure Valley Angel Fund and the Capitol City Angel Fund and serves as the Secretary & Treasurer of the latter.

Jon loved growing up in Boise and was determined to raise his children here to experience the atmosphere of community and recreational abundance we’ve all grown to love. Jon now lives in Meridian with his wife, Cherie, and their four daughters. The Hoegers love Idaho's rivers, especially fly fishing and whitewater rafting. Jon also loves playing soccer and other sports, and enjoying Idaho’s great outdoors and helping his children discover and learn about the world around them.
